Sweet! Two down and one more to go! I love this costume and it was super easy to make. In case you missed it, here is the first of our homemade costumes.
The Hat & Beard
To make this hat and beard combo I used a variation of this tutorial. The beard is attached to the hat by the sideburns. I wanted to put eyebrows on the hat but my daughter wasn't convinced. I have to say I still like the way it turned out.
The Outfit
I bought a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt at the store and the belt was a perfect Goodwill find. The great thing about this is that the pants and sweatshirt can be used after Halloween too. Not to forget, this gnome will stay nice and toasty during the usual chilly Halloweens we have.
The Boots
We have owned these for a while and we even used them last year for our Halloween costumes. I thought about spray painting them black since most gnomes have black or brown boots but I thought better of it. I love my little primary gnome.
