Our Week of Vegetables and Links

Vegetarians and vegans are hardcore. Not that I was hardcore this week or anything, just that it takes an amazing amount of commitment. Kudos to you guys!

This week actually went well with the vegetarianism. You won't believe that I lost 4 pounds. Yes, in a week, four pounds. You better believe it. I didn't do anything drastic except not eat meat. I also rode my bike a lot this week and have been drinking lots of water, but I didn't change much else. I feel great and the Sailor is feeling good too.

My biggest critic of our veggie experiment was not who I thought it would be at all. It was the one person who actually gets salad when we go the buffet restaurant, my oldest daughter. She didn't even have complaints about the food. She just wanted meat. Well, she is going to have to wait. We are doing another week.

I wish I had taken pictures of our dinners because they were gorgeous and they were delicious, but I didn't think of it until now. I'll have to try and remember for next week.

Okay enough about vegetables and fruits. Sorry meat eaters.. Okay, on to the links.
