As part of the Halloween savings series my last costume is my own Mrs.Sherlock Holmes. This was probably the easiest costume yet. I went to Goodwill and picked up an old black and white plaid skirt. I also went to the dollar store and grabbed a large magnifying glass. I came home a cut the skirt on one side and made it into a capelet. The plan is to wear a black shirt gray slacks and wear my hair in a bun. Originally, I thought I could make a deerstalker hat, but I thought better of it and decided not to. I already had enough things to make and alter. The breakdown is as follows
