Halloween Roundup

So Halloween this year was not nearly as expensive as it has in the years past. All in part to fore planning and ingenuity. I had a ton of fun and the kids did too, this year, with their costumes. Here is how they turned out.

As you can see the two Coralines now have wigs. Which put us $13.70 over budget. This is where forethought should have helped me, but I just had to save four bucks.  The blue spray I bought was okay, but it didn't last long and didn't give the effect I was hoping for. If I had just bought the wigs in the first place I would only be cents over rather than dollars, but live and learn. Plus, wigs might be able to be used next year for Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes.

So, I didn't win my Halloween super challenge, but I must say that I am impressed with what we got and how it turned out. I think 50 dollars was a great limit and it could have been achieved, but I am also not too bummed with spending almost $14 over.
